Sleep Epidemiology: Volume 1
Sleep Epidemiology is a new Open Access journal that publishes original research articles as well as short papers and reviews. It is a peer-reviewed scientific and medical journal for epidemiologists, clinicians, pharmacologists, and researchers interested in the study of sleep and sleep medicine. The mission of this journal is to focus on international epidemiological sleep-related research that assists sleep specialists, professionals and scientists with their research and patient-care activities.
Sleep Epidemiology welcomes all types of epidemiological designs: Cohort, Case control studies, Cross-sectional, Longitudinal and Ecological studies related to the field of sleep medicine.
The areas of interest included but are not limited to:
- Insomnia and its disorders
- Hypersomnolence and its disorders
- Circadian Rhythms
- Parasomnias
- Populational impact of treatments
- Sleep Population Habits and Environmental factors
- Public Health policy and advocacy in the field of Sleep
